OUR STORY
D. Anderson Construction Company was born out of generations of construction knowledge. From roots in Charleston, SC back in the early 1900s, the Anderson family has been building the Lowcountry one generation at a time. Dan Anderson, the President of D. Anderson Construction Company, has built the company into one of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton’s premier construction companies.
Focusing on quality and craftsmanship, Dan and his team strive to provide a level of service for client’s and their projects that is second-to-none in the industry and region. From commercial renovations, up-fits and new builds to luxury custom homes, restaurants, and warehouses, D. President
Born and raised in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, you could say that Dan Anderson has construction in his blood. From a very early age, Dan worked with his grandfather in the family construction business in Charleston, South Carolina. Dan’s tenacious, flexible, professional, and “can-do” attitude is contagious with his staff. Dan’s experience in construction project management and supervising teams in a safe, collaborative environment allow him to be a highly responsible and adaptable team leader. His track record of problem solving, quick thinking, and diplomatically resolving issues also creates loyalty among team members and vendors. With over 30 years of construction experience, Dan excels at effective prioritization allows him to effectively manage several projects and issues simultaneously on time and under budget. Dan’s previous experience as a 200-ton yacht captain also allows him insight into the quality and communication clients seek in the completion of multi-million dollar projects through coordinating trades, negotiating, and building rapport with architects, engineers, local officials, vendors, and clients.
